Acts 10:41-43

⁴¹ not to all the people, but to us who were chosen by God to be witnesses and who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. ⁴² He also ordered us to preach to the people and to testify solemnly that this is the one appointed by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. ⁴³ All the prophets testify to this: everyone who believes in Jesus^[a] receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
